I always get asked how much research I do when writing my books. For my new series I've done a lot of research into criminal profiling. I want my criminal profilers to feel as authentic as possible! I know they say don't read your reviews, but I couldn't help myself. Mistaken Identity has been out for two weeks and the reviews are slowly coming in. The best part? Out of all the reviews on Amazon, only one is from someone I know! Finding time to write with a full time job and two kids is challenging. But here I am, slowly working on my newest book. For those of you not on Facebook, I had a lovely book launch today. All of my favorite people showed up, and a lot of people who I didn't know. And...I sold out of books! Today's the day! Mistaken Identity is here!! TOMORROW! Next Tuesday, my debut novel releases! Every good romantic suspense has a good villain. Mickey Fitzgerald is head of the notorious crime family the Fitzgeralds. He controls all of Tower Hamlets. He's not going to let anything, or anyone, take him down. Meet Patrick! His private investigation business has mostly been catching cheating spouses in the act, however, he has recently been tapped for a major case that would give him a name for himself. All he has to do is go to Heathrow and stop a key witness from fleeing the country with a bag of evidence. Simple enough, right? Unfortunately, all he has from the solicitor's office is a blurry photo and a description of the bag she's carrying. Still, it can't be that hard to get into the airport and get the girl, right?
